日元贷款项目完成两年后将对项目进行后评估。评估结果将被反馈给相关单位，并在JICA官方网站公布。
项目后评估主要目的如下：

• 评估项目结果，以履行对国民的说明责任；
• 吸取经验教训为未来项目提供借鉴；
• 为项目实施单位和JICA提出建议以改进工作。

后评估依据经济合作与发展组织（OECD）发展援助委员会（DAC）的5项标准（适当性、有效性、影响、效率性、可持续发展性）对项目进行评估。

• 组织相关专业领域的专家，前往业主方进行实地的考察；就专业建设、学生培养以及项目设备采购方向等同各系部负责老师进行充分的交流沟通，并于技术交流会后向大来公司提交考察实录及意见汇总；
• 按专业领域分别组织专业人员，结合业主方现状就项目拟采购设备的合理性、前瞻性以及关联性等进行论证。最终形成向业主方反馈的建议书；
• 结合项目特点进一步梳理清单，直至形成最终采购方案；
• 协助业主方整理德促现场评估前的问卷回复；协助搭建平台可借鉴他校的相关经验；
• 协助业主方处理德促项目进程中的难点问题；
• 按照外国政府贷款项目的相关规定以及国际招标采购的惯例编制招标文件技术卷；
• 完成招标文件技术卷的翻译工作。
